Transporting Energy

     Gas Transmission Network

Currently, our network exclusively serves the State of Gujarat and is connected to all the major natural gas supply sources as well as most of the major users and demand centers in Gujarat.  Most of our customers are natural gas end users that purchase natural gas from upstream suppliers, such as traders, producers and importers, and use our network to transport such natural gas to their location, although occasionally our customers are the natural gas suppliers who arrange to supply natural gas to the purchasers at their location.  We do not own the natural gas that we transmit and therefore we do not assume any natural gas commodity price risk.

The network is equipped with state-of-the-art technology involving fully computerized terminals. Continuous monitoring of gas flow is carried out using SCADA system, apart from manual checks. The monitoring station are at Mora (near Hazira) and Sherkhi (near Vadodara).

About 1130 Kms of pipeline is already laid and is under operation from Hazira–Baroda–Ahmedabad–Kalol-Himmatnagar-Mehsana-Rajkot-Morbi-Vapi.
